1. The Refill Revolution

Instead of buying plastic bottles daily, bring a reusable one. Many cafes in Ubud, Canggu, and Uluwatu are part of the 'Refill Bali' network, providing free or low-cost filtered water refills. Our drivers also carry large water gallons in the trunk, so you can refill your bottle anytime during your tour.

Look for the 'Refill My Bottle' sticker on shop windows. By choosing to refill, you save several plastic bottles from ending up in our oceans or landfills every single day.

2. Saying No to Single-Use

Single-use plastics like straws, plastic bags, and styrofoam are officially banned in Bali, but they still pop up occasionally. Carry a 'Zero Waste Kit' consisting of a bamboo straw, a set of wooden cutlery, and a foldable cloth bag for your souvenir shopping.

When ordering drinks, remember to say 'Tanpa Sedotan' (No straw). Most high-end cafes now use paper or bamboo straws, but bringing your own ensures you’re never caught out.
